The Fashion Fusion Awards 2008 has this year attracted London Fashionista’s from Company Magazine, London Fashion Week and Fashion Monitor.
The first instalments of the Fashion Fusion Awards 2008 will be bringing London Fashion Week’s Gavin Douglas, Company Magazine’s Deputy Fashion Editor Kirsty Hathaway and Fashion Monitor’s editor Emily Fleuriot to Birmingham on Friday March 7th 2008.
The event, which will be hosted by model Rachel Ritfeld, consists of three sections, in which two designers will compete and be judged by the fashionista’s, in order to become Fashion Fusion’s new “Undiscovered”.
Fasion Monitor Editor Emily said, “This is going to be a great event. I’m glad I have been invited as a judge, there should be more student orientated events like this!”
The event which is being supported by The Mailbox, Harvey Nichols, HMV, Company Magazine, Malmaison, JOY, Casobi and Fashion Monitor, will be held in Birmingham’s City Centre at the Adrian Boult Hall venue, and is aimed at showcasing the creativity of undiscovered fashion designers from the Midlands, whilst raising money for the M.A.C Cosmetics Aids fund.
As the events name suggests, the nights proceedings will be ‘fused’ with entertainment from Tru Street Dance, a men’s fashion catwalk by G-Star and Galaxy Man Hunt Models, live PA by Liverpool MC KOF. Audiences also get the chance to win loads of M.A.C Costmetics goodies, Malmaison prizes and lots more in the raffle.
This is a perfect chance to support our local talents in Birmingham. And we all know theres loads of it!
You can buy tickets from HMV in the Bullring for a measly £8 and get to see the future fashion of Fashion Week before they make it big!
